Stamp Basket in a Garden Maze

We'll make the 2 block quilt in class, but I wanted to show you the larger version as well. My class sample is Christmas themed; the bigger one is from Civil War reproduction fabrics. No matter what style fabrics you choose,  this quilt is fun to make, and "wicked" easy (my Harry Potter is coming through!).

Here are the Supply List and pre-class cutting requirements:

Fabric for a 24" x 42" runner or wall quilt
1 ½ yards for background and outer border
¼ yard each of 2 fabrics for Garden Maze
5" x 22" pieces of 4 assorted fabrics for blocks.
thread to match the two garden maze fabrics, plus thread for piecing.

Cutting:

Please cut the following pieces of background and sashing fabric before you come to class. It's easier to cut at home, and this will get you sewing much faster!

If you can't get all the 2 ½" x 4 ½" rectangles from these strips, you can cut the rest from the leftover
2 ½" strips for sashing.
